These
aircraft are also most efficient for short range or regional travel
(1200 miles or less). They differ from prop aircraft in that their
pressurized cabins enable them to fly at higher altitudes above
the weather. These aircraft have particularly roomy cabins and can
carry ample baggage. Depending on the model type, they can generally accommodate six to ten passengers.
